The Amuse Bouche by Bite Beauty

Hi everyone, I'm really excited about this product so I'm just going to jump right in to the details.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks (0.15 oz). If you're a Sephora VIB you can purchase these as an online exclusive for $26, they release in stores March 4. You're going to want to grab these as soon as you can. With 12 edible oils giving the product its immediately recognizable citrus scent, The Amuse Bouche is moisturizing, long-lasting and incredibly comfortable on the lips. I have three shades, Beetroot (bold berry), Gazpacho (true-blood red), and Pepper (dusty rose). If you're following me on social media you know I've been borderline obsessed with the colors I have, and cannot wait to get my hands on a few more of the 34 shades they offer. And I mean with names like Black Truffle, Meringue, Sorbet.. can you blame me?

From left to right : Gazpacho, Beetroot, Pepper

What surprised me most about this formula is the longevity. After a few swipes in the morning, I can have a few sips, lunch and most of this creamy lipstick hasn't budged. AMAZING. I even has a frosty one afternoon and was floored when I checked the mirror only to find the product had barely budged. Major. I know.

Even better still is that I didn't purchase these with my own money, Influenster was gracious enough to send all three of these to me in the Bite Beauty VoxBox. I'll briefly touch on Influenster at the end of this post.

The lipsticks themselves didn't come in individual boxes, just the tubes.
Matte grey, which I love, bullet-shaped tubes, with the standard twist up and down device. Like a normal lipstick, so nothing fancy or unexpected here.

Here are some swatches so you guys can get a better idea of how these will look.

Like I mentioned earlier, these were sent to me by Influenster, and this is definitely my favorite VoxBox. I probably never would've given these a thought if I hadn't received them, and these are my favorite lipstick formula at the moment. I can NOT get enough.
Speaking of Influenster, have you guys joined Influenster yet? If so, awesome, congratulations. If not, you need to. The site itself allows consumers to find out the latest news and expert tips on almost any kind of product on the market, as well as those yet to be released. COCKTAIL HOUR: White Peach Sangriaaa

heyhihello !
Here's another cocktail inspired look !
White Peach Sangria is one of the drinks I can remember from when I was a child.
Not because I was a child alcoholic, but because of my mother and her friends.
They would get together and drink this stuff pitcher after pitcher after pitcher
Have a good time with this look, the colors are flattering on just about every skintone and there's tons of dupes for the shadows that I used, so play with this look and make it your own.

as always... enjoy =]

February Favorites !

I didn't really buy too much of anything this month, I've been pulling out items that I forgot about and here's what I've been using just about every day and loving

Urban Decay's Naked Palette: This has been my holy grail on lazy mornings. We all know about it so I don't think there's very much more to say about it lol. I use Toasted all over my lid and Hustle to deepen my crease

Maybelline FITme! Liquid Foundation [350 Caramel] - I bought this product back in January, loved it & even posted about it - HERE - . I'm LIKING it in February. My complaints are it's alot runnier than my other foundatiosn which I don't like & it barely lasts 5hours [FOR ME]. Even with Professional Makeup primer and setting powder. =/ Maybe next time Maybelline. But the color is the best skintone match I've ever had in a foundation so that's a plus.

Sephora Lipgloss [08 blushing]: LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LIPGLOSS ! It's a peachy bronze lipgloss. The color os fantastic and goes with whatever makeup I'm wearing. I've been slapping this stuff on my lips since the second I bought it in the middle of February. Really good stuff, and who doesn't love a great nude lipgloss?

C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve: This lip balm changed my life the first time I used in back in 2009. I used it everyday, all the time, nonstop and then one day I was just over it.
I bought another one from Bath & Body Works when I was home in January and then went back the next day and bought 2 more. The tin pictured is almost gone [ I like lipstuff] It smells like roses, smoothes cracked lips & gives you a nice glossy finish. Perfect.

NARS Blush: Amour
When I saw this in Sephora I wasn't really sure if coughing up the 27bucks for this would be worth it simply because the color isn't anything special. Drugstore blushes would probably have a simolar color. It took me a couple applications before I was obsessed, the color is kinda of a peachy-pink but it goes on sheer, so it looks like your skin is glowing. It's nice. I dont know if I would purchase this color again though, like I said... $27 for a blush that's mimicked by other drusgtore brands is kind of dumb. But I do like the color.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance: Okay, I'm a loyal UDPP user and the only reason I bought this eyeshadow primer was because Urban Decay had yet to come out with their gigantic Primer Potion in a squeeze tube and I was fed up with tearing apart the older container to get the remaining product out. I bought Shadow Insurance over the summer if you haven't guessed... But recently it's been the primer I turn too. It's creamy like UDs & makes every brand of eyeshadow I have last. If you haven't tried Too Faced's primer, I recommend it. Good Stuff

SO... What have been some of your Favorites this month ??

Subtle Peach &Purple

Hi Everyone !
One makeup brand doesn't get too much comment on blogs or youtube and that's Sephora brand. Their products for whatever reason, often get looked over and forgot about but I know whenever I'm at the store I always get sucked in to the area with all of their eyeshadows, lipsticks, glosses, brushes, etc. And to be quite honest, I've never really been too interested in buying anything of theirs. =/
The shadows are pretty yeah, and I figured they were okay quality but never got much further than that.
I finally gave in, and bought some Sephora shadows & I'm pretty happy I did.
Here's a look using one of my new purchases.
The color used is a frost peach color, and instead of using plain browns or geys to do a neutral look i used one of the colors from UD's Naked Palette, and I'm happy with the look.
ENJOY =D

Neutral Everyday Look : Lorac Little Black Palette

I mentioned in my posts from the other day, that I picked up a few items last time I was in Sephora, and the Lorac Little Black Palette was another one of my purchases.
This set comes with 4 gorgeous, creamy lorac eye shadows & a travel size of their behind the scenes eye primer(great name)

unfortunately the darkest eyeshadow broke off a little bit on the ride home, so don't mind the messy-ness of my box!

I used every color in the set for a quick and pretty casual look on Monday, and I got a bunch of compliments about how the colors complimented my skin tone. So for all the brown-skinned girls out there I recommend this palette ! For $32, I really can't complain. I'm sure I'll be addicted to this palette as soon as I run out of the colors in my Naked Palette.

Here's how to get the look :

I used loaded up the color at the top right on a crease brush & applied to the crease
applied the lightest shade all over my lid area

applied darkest shade to my outer 'V' area & blended.
lined my eyes & applied mascara

finished off the look with L'oreal True Match blush in Sweet Ginger and Benefit's Lipcolor in Lady's Choice.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray

Last time I stopped in Sephora I picked up some things I'd been eyeing for a while and this setting spray was on of them. I'm one of those people who does their makeup in the morning and then if I'm going out at night, I have to redo my entire face because my makeup looks dull...it's such a drag.
I tried it this weekend and I have to say I'm not disappointed with the purchase. It's made the Skindinavia, and they've implemented the use of Temperature Control Technology that keeps your face cooler than the rest of your body, so you don't have to worry about sweating too much while bustin a move and having your makeup run. It's suitable for all skin types and claims to last for 16hours ! I didn't wear my makeup for 16 hours so I'm not sure if it would hold up, but one Friday I did my makeup around 10am applied the spray to set everything, went off to class, the library, out to lunch and when I came back to the room around 730pm my makeup looked fine. I only reapplied my blush when I left again around 11pm. so 13 hrs isn't bad.
