MAY LOVES 2016

Hey everyone !
I'm not even going to be typical and comment on how quickly this month flew by, so let's just jump in to the products I used non stop this month.
There's not a ton because I've been running around like a crazy person this month looking for new jobs and stuff like that. And also because of the beauty challenge I'm doing on Instagram, I've basically been sticking to the products I know I love all month.

Colourpop Brow Pencil in Bangin' Brunette
I know in my April Favs I had the L'Oreal Brow Pencil, but you guys.
This one is better.
The pigmentation, the spoolie, the price ($5!). If you haven't tried these yet, what the phuck are you waiting for? Seriously people.
With 8 shades and the ease of building them up there honestly isn't a reason for you and everyone you know not to at least try them.
Check them out here. You're welcome

e.l.f. High Definition Undereye Setting Powder
Okay, so since starting this makeup challenge on Instagram, I've come to realize that I truly cannot live without this product, and the container is not large enough.
It reminds of of Benefit's Powderflage from back in the day.
I still remember the day I went into Sephora scouring the shelves for it only to find out it was discontinued and no one even thought to tell me.
It was terrible. Clearly the wound hasn't healed completely, but e.l.f. powder is most certainly a dupe.
And for $3, I am not complaining. Especially now that the brand is literally in every store.

Morphe eye shadow Perfection
This has been my go to brow bone highlight since starting the #100daysofmakeup challenge on Instagram.
It's a beautiful silver shadow, with the slightest bit of cool peach undertones. It's just beautiful and I love it.

I checked the website, and could not find it, I don't know if it's discontinued or just sold out. But I'll keep checking and hopefully be able to get you a direct link so you can purchase it for yourselves.

Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals.
These released with the brands Summer Collection at the end of April, and they're fire.
Nothing else really to say.
The formula is so buttery soft, it applies effortlessly and give the prettiest golden-peach sheen.

Ugh. Dead. Get this if you can still find them at your local drugstore.
If you can't find them there, they're still available on their website. But I imagine not for long.

BINGE

Hey everyone !

I live dangerously close to a CVS, 2 Rite-Aids and a Walgreens so they're responsible for this look.
Well they're responsible for the star of this look I should say.
I walked into the CVS near me and noticed Wet N Wild has released a few new shade of their single glitters. This look features the purple one called Binge. In addition to the purple, I picked up the pink, red, and blue litters.
I blame CVS and the BOGO sale a couple of weeks ago.
You'll be seeing them soon, for sure.
They're only $0.99 so if you've been looking to try some glitters, but are about quality and struggle with application I recommend these as a first step in to the glitter world.

So without any more chit chat, here's the look.
ENJOY !

The only CON I have with these glitter singles is after you use the first layer or glitter, the texture of the rest of the single takes some getting used to. It's a glitter... pomade almost. When you apply the pomade layer directly to your eyelid there is a visible sheen, and the glitter is more dispersed than in the original pan.
Not the worst thing in the world, but definitely something to make not of if you're contemplating picking up one or a few of these.

#100daysofmakeup

Hi everyone, as you probably guessed from the title, I started the #100daysofmakeup challenge this week. Obviously not every look will be featured here, but I think I'll take my favorite every week or so and post the full details here.

If you like these challenges then you should follow me on Instagram!
Let's get into it.

This look is Day 1 of the challenge, May 1st. I've been loving a simple eye with a bold liner.
There will be lots of fun/interesting looks with linew during the challenge for sure. !

EYES
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade
LA Girl Pro Conceal
Wet N Wild Photofocus Eye Primer
Lorac Pro Palette (white, black, champagne)
NYX Face and Body Glitter in Crystal
Eyelure lashes in No. 145
L'oreal Telescopic Mascara

If you're still mastering the art of a cut crease, it helps to lay down a thin layer of gel liner, in the crease before you begin placing any eye shadows. If you mess up, you can simply remove the liner and start over more easily.
FACE
Hard Candy 12hour Power Primer
e.l.f. Tone Adjusting Primer
Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Foundation
NYX HD Concealer
e.l.f High Definition Undereye Setting Powder
NYX Contour Kit
Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights
L'oreal Infallible Setting Spray

LIPS
Wet N Wild Lip Pencil in Berry Red
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in London

Since the glitter is a loose glitter, I used a bit of Fix+ on a thin angled liner brush, dipped it into the glitter and loaded it on my eye until I got the intensity I wanted. The tip with this glitter liner, is to work slowly.
Building up the intensity really made this look pop, and it turned out much better than I was expecting.
