APRIL FAVORITES - 2011

Hey Everyone !!!
So the past 2 weeks have been insanity, I made it through finals, had to rush my mother to the ER and now I'm finally back home and getting settled into my old room =]
I've been hanginout with old friends and shopping like a madwoman, so I finally took the time to sit down and get together some of my April Favorites.
There's not really anything new, because I was saving up for a vacation that I'm goin on in the next couple days.. but here's what I came up with

Almay Moisturing Eye Makeup Remover Pads: I think I bought these at Target for $4. It comes with 80 really really thin pads, completely soaked in eyemakeup remover. It's gentle in case you have really sensitive eyes, and it's definitely moisturizng. The one thing I don't like about these is after taking off all the makeup from my eyes there's that weird oily film around them. But I'm willing to deal with that, because these literally take off every last bit of makeup I'm wearing.

Maybelline FITme! Liquid Foundation: I've blogged about this foundation before, and I'm doin it again. SORRY. But I really do like this foundation. It's perfect when the weather's like 60-70.. I dunno. But it works really well at evening out my complexion without making my face feel cakey or anything. I'm probably gonna be switching foundations in the near future though, as the weather warms up I don't wanna have to worry about my foundation literally melting off my face. hah

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Concealer Kit: I've had this particular container of concealer since last summer and it's finally almost empty... BUT when I went looking for a new on the other day... it wasn't even with the Neutrogena products. GONE. =[ If anyone knows if Neutrogena stopped making this product lemme know, because this is seriously my favorite concealer all year round.

St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub: I mentioned in another post that my skin was acting up and I had a bunch of bad breakouts, and this scrub nearly saved my life. I had used it back in highschool for a while and then just never went back to it. But now I'm back, and I'm hooked. The little scrubbies in it around rough, and it does a really good job of just making my face feel really clean and rejuvenated. Definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone !

e.l.f Bronzer & Powder Brush: I use the bronzer brush to apply my cheek colors. I find that it's the perfect shape for that area.
And I use the Powder brush for applying a setting powder after foundation. For $1 each, I'm really please with both of these e.l.f. products. There's rarely been any of the bristles of either brush falling out and winding up on my face. So if you're new in makeup and don't wanna shell out $30-50 on MAC brushes, I definitely suggest these babies.

I'll be going on vacation on Tuesday so sorry, I probably won't be uploading any new makeup looks until after I get back.
